Condensation

Condensation is when invisible water vapor becomes liquid. This happens when water vapor cools enough to change from a liquid to a gas. We did an experiment to show it (see picture). We put some ice inside a jar and when the ice melted there were water droplets on the outside of the jar. Daddy (or ML as adults would call him) explained that when the ice melted it caused the water vapor outside the jar to cool and become a liquid. This is called condensation.
